Bhenda Baje (Ladys finger fries)

Bhenda Baje or ladies finger fries is another way to savour this healthy vegetable. There are many forms of Bheda Baje  where one can finely chop the ladies finger or slit them longitudinally and so on.

Bhenda Baje
1 cup fried gram daal  flour(Kadle hittu/ chane peet).
2 cups ladies finger/Okra cut like french fries(Slit logitudinally),
Salt to taste,
1 teaspoon red chilly powder,
1 teaspoon sesame seeds,
oil for frying.
  • In a bowl mix together flour, salt to taste, red chilly powder, sesame seeds and Ladys fingers.
  • Heat oil for frying. Once heated, put the lady's finger into the oil one by one (else it may stick).
  • Fry until golden brown.
Crispy Ladies finger fries are ready to serve.
