Losne Chutney(Garlic Chutney )

This dish is mainly made of Garlic, and can be accompanied with Rice Ganji, chapathi, or even with Idli or Dosa.

1 cup scraped coconut.
1 full pod of Garlic(Skinned),
6 Byadgi red chilles,
an inch of tamarind,
Salt to taste,
1 teaspoon of oil,
  • Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan. Add Garlic .Fry this 2 minutes. Add Byadgi red chillies and  fry for another minute. Add scraped coconut to this and fry for half a minute . Close the heat and let it cool.
  • Grind the above mixture adding tamarind and salt to taste(add a bit of water if required).
Serve along with rice/chapathi/idli/dosa.
