Kurmure Upkari

Kurmure Upkari  is a lighter version of bhel puri usually served during evening tea time as a snack.It is very simple with minimal ingredients used .So lets check how Kurmure Upkari is made.

250 gms kurmuro(Bhel/puffed rice),
3 teaspoon scraped coconut,
half teaspoon mustard seeds,
half teaspoon turmeric powder,
half teaspoon red chilly powder,
4 -5 curry leaves,
2 teaspoon cooking oil(preferably coconut oil),
  • Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds, when they start spluttering add curry leaves,turmeric powder,red chilly powder. Add the kurmura(or puffed rice).
  • Garnish with scraped cocnut and sev(optional).
